Come and join us at our fantastic, family-friendly gym (6000 sq ft facility, with over 4000 sq ft of gym floor, making it one of the largest in the South East, 15 Olympic Weightlifting platforms, a yoga/pilates studio, kids' room and sports therapy room) in the heart of the East Sussex countryside at the beautiful Crockstead Farm Hotel on the Eastbourne Road, just outside Uckfield (easily accessible from Lewes, Crowborough, Heathfield, Hailsham, Newick, Nutley, Maresfield, Framfield, Blackboys and Hadlow Down.)

What is CrossFit?

CrossFit gives you, first and foremost, a genuinely enjoyable way to get fitter and stronger in a friendly and supportive environment.

You do not have to be fit to start CrossFit - we will get you fit.  If you're already fit, CrossFit is that next challenge you're looking for!

CrossFit is all about not specialising - in fact, the workouts punish the specialist. It’s about being better across the board. Not just being a faster runner, not just being strong enough to carry partners or kids from a burning building, not just mentally tough enough to finish a difficult task we’d rather we hadn’t started but it is all of these things and so much more!  

CrossFit makes us feel good.  It gives us a sense of pride in our achievements.  It’s makes us worry less about the kilos on the scales and more about the kilos on the bar.  It’s a sociable and rewarding training protocol.

CrossFit is a combination of traditional cardio (running, rowing etc) gymnastic movements (pullups, handstands etc) powerlifting (squats and presses etc) and olympic weightlifting (snatches and cleans and jerks) all combined into a constantly varied mix, carried out at high intensity. 

CrossFit is for pro athletes, stay-at-home dads, teenage girls, grandfathers, executives, manual labourers, the overweight, the underweight, the scared and the bold!

It is universally scaleable, which means anyone can do it!  However...not everyone wants to….
